Website design and development

Responsive, or mobile-first websites adapt automatically to display on different sized screens. It means that more people can see, and interact, with your content.

What is Responsive web design?

Responsive web design is where a website automagically adapts its layout to suit different screen sizes, e.g., desktops, smartphones, and tablets. The layout remains legible regardless of the device your visitor is using. Think of it as one site fits all.

Given that more people use tablets and smartphones than desktop computers to access the Internet, this is a key consideration if you’re a website owner and you don’t want to prevent anyone from being able to read your site.

'People are five times more likely to leave a mobile site that isn’t mobile friendly.'

Is responsive web design important?

Well, yes it is. More now than ever, actually. The major benefit of having a responsive is that you don’t have to create multiple versions of a website, nor do you have to spend extra convincing your audience to download a native app.

In fact, did you know:

More of a 'must' than a 'nice to have'.

I’ve already got a website, can you responalize it?

I can certainly have a look! Often, older websites have been constructed in a way that made it complex to turn it into a responsive design so a rebuild may be required, but that may be an opportunity to freshen up your site so, no bad thing.

I’m happy to have a look and give you my opinion and don’t worry, I’d rather sell you nothing at all than something you don’t need.

Want to work with me?

I know what it takes to set up and run effective online presence. I make, manage and optimise websites for local businesses; my web design services include everything necessary to get an online presence to be proud of.

You might think that if you work with a smaller web design services firm you won’t get the quality or service you’d naturally associate with a bigger agency. That’s not the case. I don’t have the overheads of a large agency and if you’re doing a project with me, you know it’s me working on it and not the latest intern or some guy who used to fit kitchens for a living.

I’m as excited about your idea as you are.

If you think I can help with your project, please drop me a line. I’m always happy to have an obligation free chat and who knows, we both might learn something.
