Not sure whether your website is doing its job?
Maybe it looks OK, but you're wondering whether it's working properly, whether people can find it, or whether there are things you should be improving.
A website health check gives you a practical look at what's working, what isn't, and what I'd recommend doing about it.
No complicated report full of technical jargon. Just useful advice you can actually do something with.
I'll look at the things that matter to your website and the people using it.
Depending on your website, that might include:
How it looks and works on mobile devices
Navigation and page structure
Page titles and headings
Website content and clarity
Basic SEO
Local search visibility
Links and calls to action
Page speed and performance
Accessibility and usability
Images and how they're being used
Technical issues that could affect the site
Things that may be confusing or frustrating for visitors
I'll look at the website as both a user and a web professional.
A website can look perfectly fine and still not do a particularly good job.
Perhaps visitors can't quickly work out what you do.
Perhaps your contact details are difficult to find.
Perhaps your services aren't explained clearly.
Or perhaps the website works well but simply isn't being found by the people you're trying to reach.
A health check is a chance to step back and look at the bigger picture.
The point isn't to give you a huge list of things to fix.
I'll explain what I think is worth addressing and, where possible, which things are likely to make the biggest difference.
Some recommendations might be quick wins.
Others might be worth considering later.
And sometimes I'll tell you that something isn't worth spending money on.
That's part of getting an honest assessment.
That's absolutely fine.
I work with Google Sites and can look at the design, structure, content, mobile experience and SEO basics of your site.
If you're considering whether your Google Sites website has reached its limits, I can also help you understand whether you actually need to move to something else.

I can check WordPress websites too.
As well as looking at the website itself, I can identify areas where the site may need attention around content, usability, SEO, performance or functionality.
If there's a technical issue that needs fixing, I can also help with that.

You decide.
You might take the recommendations away and make the changes yourself.
You might ask me to help with some of them.
Or you might decide that your website is doing a perfectly good job and leave it alone.
There’s no obligation to have any further work done.
If you do want help, I'll explain what I'd recommend and what it would cost before doing anything.
It's particularly useful if:
Your website is a few years old
You're not sure whether your website is working properly
You're getting fewer enquiries than you'd like
Your website isn't performing well in Google
You've made lots of changes over time and aren't sure if everything still works
You've built the site yourself and would like a professional opinion
You're thinking about a redesign but don't know whether you actually need one
You don't need to know what's wrong.
That's rather the point.
Send me your website address and tell me what you're concerned about.
I'll take a look and we can work out whether a health check would be useful.
A second pair of eyes can sometimes make a big difference.
