Not everyone wants to spend a fortune on their website, I get that. If you're a small business and working to a budget, that's no problem. More often than not a simple, professional website which includes the key facts about your business, your contact details and some good quality photographs are all you need to make an impact online.

I provide an end to end service
When you're designing and building a website there's usually some fiddly stuff to work out, like hosting, domain name configuration etc. I can do all that for you, or help you understand what to do. Whichever works for you. And depending on your comfort level, we'll find the best software to create your website. My go-to options are WordPress and Google Sites and between them they cover approx 50% of all websites and should work for you too.
Websites from scratch
I can create a website based on your design or use the inspiration you provide to create something unique to you. If there are websites you've seen that you like the look of, I can use inspiration from these to create a design for you. Typically I will mock up a page layout or two for you to review and agree before we get going.
Template based websites
To keep costs under control we can use a pre-made template to get your website started, then customise it to meet your needs. A template or theme provides a layout for your website pages, and then we can configure the colour palette, logos, fonts, spacing, imagery etc to make it unique to you. Templates take a fair chunk of time out of the process and hence make it a cheaper option.
Basic SEO is included
You will not end up on page one of Google overnight, no matter what anyone tells you. Each website I make comes with basic SEO built in. Code, content and images are optimised for Google index. There are plenty of 'on site' and 'off site' things we can do to improve your website ranking in Google over time, and I'll explain what these are. It's important that your website is alive, not just live.

Update your own website content
You'll probaby want to be able to edit your own website content at some point. To change an address, add a new menu or page etc. Good news! I use WordPress and Google Sites so if you're comfortable working in Word or Google docs you can edit your own website content too. Using a standard web browser can log into your site and add pages, posts, images and text whenever you want to. There's no software to download or complex instructions to follow.

You might think that if you work with a smaller web design services firm you won’t get the quality or service you’d naturally associate with a bigger agency. That’s not the case. I don’t have the overheads of a large agency and if you’re doing a project with me, you know it’s me working on it and not the latest intern or some guy who used to fit kitchens for a living.
